Leg bases
Build the seat supports using twox4 lumber cut to 45 degrees. Place the blue and violet components next to the yellow ones, aligning them to form an octagon. Drill holes at the corners and attach the blue and violet components with two-half-inch wood screws. Use a spirit level to ensure that all support beams are level. If the edges of the two pieces of lumber do not meet, use a scrap piece of wood in between the double boards to create a gap of about one and a half inches.
