Outboard Boat Trolling Motor Cart Plans DIY Trolling Motor Stand Carrier Dolly Storage

These plans will show you how to build your own Trolling Motor Stand.

This outboard motor cart has everything. It's strong enough to handle a 40-horsepower engine; it's rigid enough to allow it to be used as a repair stand, even to cranking; it hauls a gas tank, with room left for a tool box; it's so well balanced that a child can move a big engine easily; and it folds compactly in 10 seconds by removing one pin which also locks it in the folded position. What's more it's light, easy to build and cheap.

What Is an Outboard Motor Stand?

A good outboard motor stand is the key to storing and transporting your outboard motor. You'll want a stand that's lightweight and portable, and ideally, it can fold up to a smaller size for easy storage and transportation. Moreover, it should have a small footprint and be easy to assemble. That way, you can store it in a confined space if needed.

Easy to assemble

This easy to assemble outboard motor stand can be made out of two pieces of 2x4 lumber. The two pieces should be about the same length and should be screwed together using three inch wood screws. Once you have assembled the stand, you can attach the motor board. To make it more stable, you can use two additional pieces of 2x4 lumber to support the motor board.

To assemble the stand, you will first need to cut two 32-inch pieces of 2x4 with a 12-degree miter cut. Align the two pieces so that the long sides are facing up. Once you have done that, you will be able to align the two 4" support blocks on the 36-inch base piece. Using these support blocks as guides, mark two lines across the two upright supports.

Heavy-duty

If you have a large outboard motor, you should invest in a heavy-duty outboard motor stand to store it safely. These sturdy stands can support up to 100kg. They also make it easy to transport and store your motor while cleaning and maintaining it. The stand has large solid wheels that make moving your motor easy.

These stands are easy to assemble, sturdy, and make it easier to move your outboard motor. The heavy-duty material used makes them ideal for storing, servicing, and repairing boats. They are great for keeping your motors at home, in the garage, or at the shop during the winter. The six-wheel design and side-by-side rear tire construction makes them sturdy and easy to maneuver. The carts also feature ergonomic handles and powder-coating to avoid rust.

Easy to transport

The Easy to Transport Outboard Motor Stand is an excellent option for moving large, heavy boat engines. This sturdy iron product is 26" wide, 43" deep, and 46" high. It features two wheels at the rear and two smaller casters at the front to ease maneuverability. These wheels are fitted with rubber treads to grip the surface of the boat and keep the outboard motor steady even on rough terrain.

The first benefit of an easy to transport outboard motor stand is that it makes it easy to store and transport the outboard motor. It also prevents damage to the engine and allows easy access to maintenance and installation of new parts. This stand also makes it easier to transport your outboard motor to different locations.

Low maintenance

When it comes to maintaining your outboard motor, you can get a low maintenance outboard motor stand that can handle the weight. These stands are designed with a triangular base that provides stability on uneven terrain. They have two front and two rear wheels that have rubber treads to prevent slipping. They also feature padded footrests to prevent falls.

These stands come in different lengths and colors, and they come with everything you need to install them. If you don't have a lot of money, you can easily build one yourself using simple woodworking tools, 2x4s, deck screws, and a few pieces of plywood.

Cost

One of the most important accessories for your outboard motor is an outboard motor stand. These pieces of equipment make moving the engine so much easier. They come in all shapes and sizes and each one has its own unique features. These products can be purchased or made at home using simple materials like deck screws and 2x4s.

Outboard motor stands are designed to provide easy access to all parts of the engine. These stands also provide mobility by incorporating folding handles. Some of these stands are even made of tubular steel and have a weight capacity of up to 1,000 pounds.
