Forklift Attachment For Tractor DIY Plans - Forklift For Garden Tractor Material Handling Lifting Equipment

These DIY plans will show you how to build your own Forklift Attachment For Tractor.

An easy-to-assemble fork lift adds a lot of muscle to any yard tractor, letting you hoist, load, and stack bulky items that would otherwise be back breakers.

Two handles, within easy reach at the top of the hood, control the rig's dual action. One pivots the entire frame to tilt the forks down (for picking up a load) or up (for carrying it). The other is handle on an inexpensive winch, foe winding in a cable that passes over two pulleys and ties in to a fork plate. Skate wheels guide this plate up a channeled frame.

When the tractor is needed for other uses, the lift is easily detached by removal of three to five bolts (depending on whether you detach the bottom brackets or just pull the pivot bolts). Only the tilt-control plate and handle remain on the tractor

All plans are designed by Ben Stone. Ben is a retired Engineer in Canada. Ben also drafts these himself using the latest AutoCAD software to ensure accuracy. He studied Engineering back in the early 1980's. After over 30 years in the Construction industry he developed a passion for building cool items around his farm and cabin. These are great DIY projects. With a little skill anybody can Do It Yourself. Ben is always a email away if you have any questions while building one of his projects. He is adding new plans all the time.
