I absolutely love this design. I have one in my office to be used by guests when they come. I have 6 of these in my cabin. It is great, they look good when they are folded up and at night I have an extra 6 beds that can pop out when I need them without taking up space during the day. I even have one in my ice fishing shack!

What is a Single Sized Murphys Bed?
One of the best ways to maximize the function and flow of any room is with a Murphy bed. They come in a variety of models, including wall-mounted and horizontal models. Learn about these three types of Murphy beds to choose the one that fits your needs. In addition to their versatility, Murphy beds are a great way to save space in your home. These three types are called horizontal, wall-mounted, and storage cabinet.

Single Sized Murphy Bed
To install a single sized Murphy bed, measure the room and move furniture out of the way so you can access the bed. Then, measure the width and height of the door that will be used to open and close the bed. Remember to measure the mattress dimensions as well. Then, follow the instructions provided with the Murphy bed manual to assemble it. Once you're done, you can enjoy your new bed! Once you have assembled the bed, you can close the door behind the chalkboard.

Horizontal Murphy Bed
Adding side cabinets to a Horizontal Murphy Bed is a great way to add extra storage and the look of built-in shelving. In some cases, these cabinets can also double as a bedside table. Horizontal side cabinets will typically sit about half an inch below the level of the closed bed, making them an excellent way to create extra storage space. The cabinets will generally measure approximately the same depth as the murphy bed itself.

Wall-mounted Murphy Bed
The most common type of Murphy bed is a single-sized one. These are typically made of sturdy materials that can be secured to the wall with at least three studs. A chest cabinet Murphy bed provides even more flexibility in the space you have available, but it isn't as easy to install. Single-sized wall beds can usually only accommodate a standard mattress up to 12 inches thick. Single-sized wall beds are generally the cheapest option.

Storage cabinet Murphy Bed
There are many different styles of Single Sized Storage Cabinet Murphy Bed. Some of these are simple, while others are designed with extras, such as USB Modules. All have different finishes and come with fold up trays. You can choose from three different colors, as well. Night and Day has many cabinet beds to choose from, so you can find one that suits your preferences and your budget. There are even different finishes for this cabinet bed, so you can easily find the one that fits your room.

Cost of a Murphy Bed
The cost of a Single Sized Murphy Bed depends on a few different factors. While most Murphy bed shoppers want space-saving benefits, there are some other considerations that should be made before making a purchase. Depending on your preferences, you can buy a high-quality model, or go for a cheaper one. Consider who will be sleeping in the bed, as well as how easy the assembly is. Additionally, consider the height of the mattress, as some people prefer a lower-profile model.
